Our Story
Giuseppe’s Cafe & Espresso Bar or just “Giuseppe’s” ( ja-sep-eez )
began in 2002 in the Gable Square district here in the South Side of Birmingham. Just around the corner from the campus of the University of Alabama in Birmingham, the Hospital District, and the Civic Center, the restaurant is conveniently located to the heart of the city. Mainly by word of mouth and thanks to the filled bellies of delighted diners the restaurant has become a local favorite for fresh home cooked Italian food and great dining!
The atmosphere is casual. No matter if you’re trying to get a quick lunch, on a romantic dinner date, or taking the kids out for pizza night, Giuseppe’s is more than happy to fit your needs!
